The Department of Innovative Technologies comprises six research institutes active in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer science, medical and materials technologies, industrial manufacturing, electronics, mechanics, and robotics.
The Institute of Digital Technologies for Personalized Healthcare conducts applied research and training in the field of precision and personalized healthcare. It focuses on preventive, prognostic, diagnostic, and therapeutic applications of data science and artificial intelligence, innovative medical devices, intelligent biomedical sensors and signal processing, image analysis, and new healthcare and telemedicine solutions.
Thanks to the specialized expertise of its researchers, applied research projects are conducted in collaboration with academic and industrial partners at the local, national, and international levels.
