Twenty-five students from all over the world traveled to Basel for four exciting days
The University of Life Sciences FHNW, together with Nanjing University from China, organized a four-day summer school on the subject of environment and health from July 9th to 12th, 2019. In addition to lectures by experts, the program also included a visit to Roche in Basel and a topic-based exchange round followed by poster presentations by the participants. Sight-seeing was the order of the day on the last day: the summer school ended with an optional excursion to Lucerne and the Stanserhorn.
The specialist inputs were given by representatives from Trent University Canada, Unisanté, the Swiss Center for Applied Human Toxicology, Nanjing University and the FHNW School of Life Sciences. The event was co-sponsored by F. Hoffmann-La Roche and biotechnet Switzerland.
