Biotechnet provides feedback on BFI Botschaft 2025-2028 Verified listing

As part of the Federal Council's consultation process, Biotechnet was grateful for the opportunity to provide feedback on the Swiss government's policy for promoting education, research and innovation from 2025-2028 (BFI Botschaft 25-28).

Summary of our feedback

• We support the policy and its goals, but feel the amounts budgeted may not be enough to achieve the goals and overcome the challenges identified.
• The healthcare, biotech and pharmaceutical sectors could be more strongly represented in the policy.
• Measures that provide long-term support to national biotech networks would be welcome. This would ensure that basic and applied research, industry and society can be brought together to advance innovative solutions to health challenges.

As part of the consulation process, our feedback will be published on the Government's website and may be read or discussed in Parliament.
