- Prof. Robert Gatenby from the Moffit Cancer Center in Florida showed in his keynote the importance of including evolutionary dynamics approached to control or cure metastatic cancers.
- Prof Franzisca Michor from the Dana-Faber Cancer Institute at Harvard presented recent results of her group on understanding the evolutionary processes that are driving cancer growth in glioblastoma brain cancers.
