Biography
Dr. Tim Heinemann holds a degree in Systems Biology from the University of Heidelberg and completed his PhD at the German Cancer Research Center. With a focus on theoretical biology, machine learning, and precision medicine, he is working toward robust and explainable AI. He joined the Centre Suisse d'Electronique et de Microtechnique (CSEM) as a Senior Computational Biologist in the AI for Life Sciences group, where he oversees applied machine learning projects to enhance Swiss industry capabilities in computational biology.
