About the platform
The Bioresource Technologies Platform primarily addresses industrial needs for chemical and material resources to supply societal demand. Our vision is based on the concept of integrated biorefineries, namely, the cascading recovery of valuable inorganic and organic chemicals and materials from untapped resources (e.g. biowaste, wastewater, side-products of industrial processes) before their final use for energy production or disposal. What we can do for you:
- Provide access to a network of experts to develop R&D projects for processes and products
- Organise events to exchange/disseminate know-how to enable translational research from academia to industry and find for you the adequate partners
- Promote innovative technologies for the valorisation of untapped resources through the use of biotechnology and update you on last breakthroughs
