    The FHNW School of Life Sciences at Campus Muttenz has an outstanding infrastructure and know-how dedicated to applied research in life sciences. Several of our research groups are engaged in tissue engineering and cell biology research.

    FHNW is pleased to welcome the partners of TEDD, a thematic platform from Biotechnet Switzerland, to showcase our activities and discuss our research in the areas of automated organoid handling, bioprinting, bioprocess technologies and microphysiological systems in toxicology. We look forward to seeing you on March 23!

    • 10:15 Introduction by Laura Suter-Dick (FHNW, Biotechnet) & Markus Rimann (ZHAW, TEDD)
    • 10:30 First Tour, 45 min (Four Tours Start in Parallel: A, B, C & D)
    • 11:30 Second Tour, 45 min (Four Tours Start in Parallel: A, B, C & D)
    • 12:30 Sandwich Lunch
    • 14:00 Third Tour, 45 min (Four Tours Start in Parallel: A, B, C & D)
    • 14:45 Reconvene at the Foyer and Wrap-up by Laura Suter-Dick and Markus Rimann

    Lab Tours Each visitor will choose three out of four possible tours (A-D).

    • Tour A: Automated liquid handling for organoid medium exchange and repetitive sampling 6.N.08 Prof. Dr. Johannes Mosbacher, Institute for Pharma Technology, FHNW School of Life Sciences
    • Tour B: Bioprinting and 3D-printing Dr. Maurizio Gullo, Institute for Medical Technology and Medical IT, FHNW School of Life Sciences
    • Tour C: Of plasmids, proteins and gene therapies: Bioprocess technology for new modalities Dr. Thomas Villiger, Institute for Pharma Technology, FHNW School of Life Sciences
    • Tour D: Microfluidics and microphysiological systems for research in toxicology and disease modelling Prof. Dr. Laura Suter-Dick/Dr. Carine Gaiser, Institute for Chemistry and Bioanalytics, FHNW School of Life Sciences

    The FHNW requires a Covid certificate and face masks to enter the building. We comply with the current federal regulations. The number of participants is limited to 50. The event is free of charge for TEDD partners. Non-members pay a participation fee.
